Lucien AI provides messaging infrastructure that enables transactional, booking-related, and service-related communications. Lucien AI is committed to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), state laws, and carrier messaging guidelines.

    2. Messaging Infrastructure

    Lucien AI provisions and manages business phone numbers through authorized messaging providers, including Twilio. All SMS communications sent through Lucien AI must comply with mobile carrier requirements, including mandatory opt-out functionality (STOP) and support commands (HELP). Lucien AI acts as a messaging technology provider on behalf of businesses.

    3. Consent Requirements

    Customers must provide express consent before receiving SMS communications from a business using Lucien AI. Consent must be clearly disclosed and documented by the business. Transactional and service-related SMS messages may be required for booking or service functionality. Marketing or promotional messages require separate explicit consent in accordance with applicable laws.

    4. Message Types

    Customers who consent to SMS communications may receive transactional and service-related messages, including:

    5. Message Frequency

    10. Business Responsibilities

    Businesses using Lucien AI agree that they are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining legally compliant consent from their customers before sending SMS communications. Businesses must maintain records of consent and honor opt-out requests promptly. Lucien AI does not independently collect consumer opt-in consent on behalf of businesses and acts solely as a messaging technology provider.

    11. Prohibited Use

    12. Compliance

    Lucien AI is designed to support businesses in maintaining SMS compliance. However, businesses are ultimately responsible for ensuring their use of the service complies with all applicable laws, including the TCPA, state regulations, and carrier messaging policies.
